We trusted Cirrus Construction with our dream.

Dara and I have always been passionate about animals, giving loving care to dogs and cats we’ve owned or fostered.  Rescuing strays and mistreated or abandoned pets, providing necessary veterinary care, and finding good folks who will love them and adopt them is truly our lifelong dream.

We decided to go for it.  We quit our jobs and dedicated all of our time toward building a kennel and developing a business plan to board dogs and cats.  We knew then that the kennel would be the means to an end.  We wanted everything about the physical facility to be as perfect in design and layout as possible, and the daily operation to run smoothly so that we could build a successful business that would one day enable us to expand and add an adoption service.  That was our ultimate goal.

With a sketch in hand, what savings we had and two big hearts ready to see this dream through to fruition, we contacted Cirrus Construction.  Scott Flanagan took my sketch and designed the Loving Pet Inn.  He started with a ranch-style house that we had purchased on land that had been commercially zoned.  Scott and the team at Cirrus made the necessary renovations and additions to accommodate 40 climate-controlled indoor/outdoor runs.  We have a furnished “cat room,” a full-service kitchen and break area, laundry, restrooms, grooming center and a storage area.  Adjacent to the kennel, Cirrus designed and built a cozy caretaker quarters so that Dara and I are always on site and able to ensure the safety of our “guests” 24/7.  Opening in May of 2006, our business has grown steadily ever since.  Today we feel fortunate to be operating a successful kennel with an excellent reputation.

As soon as we felt comfortable that we were in a position – both financially and with adequate support staff – to fulfill the next and most important part of our vision, we added a pet adoption center with additional housing and a run.

We have since implemented a spay/neuter program which is rewarding in itself and continues to gain support.

That’s what happened.  We’re living our dream and applying our passion to save animals’ lives and, we think, the lives of humans who adopt a friend for life from Loving Pet Inn Adoptions.

We thank Cirrus Construction for working alongside us to plan, design and build the Loving Pet Inn and Estates – just like the vision in our dreams.
